2.5 Years Old

This picture says alot about Isaac right now. He has definitely become more opinionated about life from his wardrobe to what he will have to drink. He seems to have something to say about it all lately:) It is fun to see more and more of his personality. (He has a thing for socks right now and has been digging his "orange" hand me down tennis shoes from his big cousin Will and of course his John Deere hat) One of his favorite activities right now is hiding from us in his "choo choo" bed. He will get under the covers (usually with one limb sticking out for us to see) and start calling for us. He gets such a thrill when we find him!

He started a tumbling class this month. He talks about his teacher Miss Cindy ("Miss Indy") all the time. He has improved alot from the first class with following direction and trying new things. We took a trip to the Children's Museum this month and lots of apple orchard visits.

He really likes to try to understand why we are doing things and help us anyway he can. Usually if I can relate any scenario to working with tools he is a happy camper. For instance, running along with me to have my pants altered was interesting because he was able to watch the seamstress at work with her "tools" (needle/pins), helping me bake a cake became fascinating once I pulled out the hand held mixer he shouted out "Mommy's power tool!", and just this morning he was in awe of the painter at our house with his brushes and ladders.

He very much likes being referred to as a "big boy" right now. When people ask him his name he answers with "BIG BOY!". He is still sweet with Charlie, he likes to say "hi Charlie" when I can feel him moving and will give him kisses and high fives.
