The Wait is Over!

My water broke 5 minutes before the due date was over. Here Daren caught a pic of the clock as I was calling the Dr. with the big news. Midnight on March 11th.

This is how Daren spent his day. Feeding me ice chips and holding my hand.

In the morning all of the family was waiting so eagerly and bright eyed. We thought we would meet this little guy by early evening.

Aunt Dee and Uncle Bill joined the troops too. Grandma Phyllis was there too and later in the day Rene, Aunt Suzie, Uncle Rick, Ashley, and Nick joined the wait also.

Here is a picture of the clock before Daren was allowed into the operating room for the c-section. It was 11:05 pm. Yep, Isaac and I made it through 23 hours of labor together!

It was well worth it!!! Here is Isaac Michael Caldwell. 8lbs 11oz, 19 inches long, March 11th, 11:20pm. He came out crying with a full head of dark blonde hair! We couldn't have been happier to finally get to meet him.

Their wait was over too. Grammy, Gramps, and Grandma Phyllis finally were able to lay their eyes on Isaac at 1 am!
